Endau Rompin (Johor)
A 4D/3N trip to the famous National Park in Johor. For those who are really Nature Lovers.

In 1985-1986 a scientific expedition discovered several very rare species of fauna and flora. 179 species of butterflies, elephants, wildbores, hornbills, monkeys, tigers…..living and roaming in this 100 million years old jungle.

Description
Option 1 - 4D/3N (for people reasonably fit)
- Day 1
Our tour begins in Kuala Lumpur at 7:00 am or in Kluang where we will meet at around 12:00 pm. After a drive through a palm oil plantation and a dense jungle we will reach the entrance of the park at Kampung Peta where we will register and have a short briefing on the park regulations. We will visit the nearby garden: medicinal plants, arboretum, orchid, ginger and palm garden and a delightful pond or explore the area around the orang-asli settlement. After dinner, we will enjoy a night walk. Our accommodation will be dormitory style at Kampung Peta. - Day 2
After breakfast, we will be transferred by boat to Kuala Jasin (45 mn) from where we will start our trek to Batu Hampar campsite (2-3h), our camping equipment. has to be carried along. On the way, we will have a rest at Kuala Marong a favourite spot to view a variety of fish in their natural habitat, a short hike to Upeh Guling Waterfall a picturesque spot with swirling waters, smooth boulders and “bathtubs” ground out of solid rocks by water and pebbles over millions of years and enjoy a swim in the blue water of Tasik Air Biru. We will prepare our dinner and collect wood for the campfire. - Day 3
After breakfast we will trek to Buaya Sangkut Waterfall (6h) a magnificently 120 m in height cascading down on 3 levels. The rock formation resembles a trapped crocodile, giving the fall cascading down its name. Having our picnic lunch on the way. We will trek back to Kuala Jasin for our 3rd night, camping. - Day 4
Before returning back –by boat- to the park entrance, we will trek (4h) to Janing Barat Plateau the magnificent forest of the endemic fan palm Livistona endauensis which was first discovered here. After lunch, transfer back to Kluang.

After breakfast we will be transferred by boat to Kuala Jasin from where we will start our trek to Kuala Marong , Upeh Guling and enjoy a dip at Tasik Air Biru before returning back to Kampung Peta. We will have a typical dinner prepared by the orang-asli. - Day 3

What You Should Bring
- During the walk: small rucksack , hat, sunglasses, raincoat, hiking shoes, insect repellent, your personal pharmacy. Some people prefer long pants; some short ones. No rule.
